ABOUT Lynda Elley

Lynda Elley began her financial planning practice with a desire to focus on women and their families and the particular issues facing the "Sandwich Generation". Lynda is a Certified Financial Planner, ("CFP®") and Certified Long Term Care Specialist (CLTC) and is an Investment Advisor Representative of Copperwynd Financial.

A graduate from Colorado State University with a BS in Business Management and a minor in French, she spent the first 20 years of her career in the high-tech industry in executive sales, business development and management. Until 2001, she served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Informative Graphics Corp., a local software developer, where she rounded out her management and strategic planning skills. While there, she facilitated compensation plan development, expansion of the sales and customer service teams, launched new products and helped lead the acquisition and integration of another company. These skills serve her well in understanding the complexities of business operations and strategic planning.

Following the "new product introduction" of her daughter Claire in 2000, Lynda focused her attention on the financial issues facing families with both children nearing college-age and parents approaching retirement - the Sandwich Generation. She brings a combination of compassion and analytical skills to the planning process for her clients who find themselves balancing the financial needs of multiple generations.

On the board of ARISEArizona, a resource for seniors and their adult children, Lynda hosted the Finance and Legal segment for their weekly radio program, Live Long. Live Well. and appeared on Channel 8 in a special on families of the Sandwich Generation sponsored by AARP. She served on the Scholarship Committee with the Phoenix Assistance League and is a member of the Financial Planners Association. She enjoys photography, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family.
