ABOUT Mona Lisa Morris

Mona Lisa Morris, an Accredited Financial Counselor®, Certified College Funding Specialist®, and an Education Loan Analyst™, is the founder and CEO of Higher Earning Hub. Her initiative is to transform the educational landscape, navigating and elevating the experience while aiding students and families to avoid educational debt. At the helm of Higher Earning Hub, Morris is dedicated to creating educational opportunities that are accessible, attainable, and financially sustainable, focusing on elevating the entire higher education experience, ensuring it is unburdened by college and career debt.

As a former nonprofit executive, Morris facilitated substantial funding access for underserved and marginalized clients. Morris's commitment to community service is highlighted by her role as a Trustee on the Birmingham Public Library Board, appointed by the Birmingham City Council in 2019, and serving as Chair of the Finance Committee. She was also selected to serve on Mayor Randall Woodfin's Small Business Council in 2021. Currently, Morris continues to serve in each of these roles in her community. In addition, Morris is a member of the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women Birmingham Executive Leadership Team and serves as the Circle of Red Chair.
