ANCHORAGE AMATEUR RADIO CLUB SCHOLARSHIP*
The Anchorage Amateur Radio Club (AARC), founded in 1947 as Anchorage Amateur Radio League, provides communications and logistics support for events throughout the year and is an official part of the State of Alaska and the Municipality of Anchorage Emergency Plans. The primary purpose of the AARC Club Scholarship is to provide scholarships to students allowing college level promise in science, mathematics, communications, radio, electronics or astronomy. The second consideration should be selecting from among that pool of students who, because of financial considerations, could not attend APU but for this scholarship. The third consideration should be selecting from among those students, the students with the highest academic capabilities and avocational interest in the academic fields for which this scholarship is intended.

AT-SEA PROCESSORS ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP*
The At-Sea Processors Association Scholarship was established in 2000, and amended in 2008, to provide financial support to any qualifying Alaska Pacific University student(s) who is enrolled in Marine Biology or a fisheries-related field.

Eligible students must demonstrate a high level of academic achievement (minimum 3.5 GPA) and scholastic aptitude. Eligible students must demonstrate plans to continue in their chosen field of study, and a desire to work in aquatic biology or a fisheries-related field in Alaska after graduation.

Complete the attached form and submit it to the Environmental Science Department Chair Dr. Leslie Cornick (lcornick@alaskapacific.edu). Applications are accepted in the spring for the following academic year. Funding decisions will be made by the Marine Biology Faculty and announced at the Honors Assembly.

MARY ELLEN SEGELHORST SCHOLARSHIP
The N.E. ?Knobby? Segelhorst Memorial Scholarship was established by Mary Ellen Segelhorst to serve as a memorial to her beloved husband, N.E. ?Knobby? Segelhorst, a major benefactor of Alaska Pacific University, both during his life and after his passing in 2004. Knobby, and his wife Mary Ellen, generously supported APU over many years, and most notably, contributed funds for the construction and maintenance of Segelhorst Hall, named in their honor. The purpose of this scholarship fund is to benefit Alaskan students needing financial assistance in order to achieve their academic goals. The scholarship may be used for tuition, books and fees and can only be applied toward study at Alaska Pacific University.
