The National Merit Finalist Recognition Scholarship celebrates a student?s exceptional accomplishment in being named a National Merit Finalist by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. It is added to a student?s merit scholarship award and also entitles the student to personalized opportunities to work with faculty members and community projects. During their first year, students qualifying for this scholarship will be invited to choose a faculty member who will provide an additional level of mentorship. Special advising for scholarship recipients will include a streamlined process for meeting the College?s general education requirements, and for potential accelerated completion of the bachelor?s degree. Students must submit to Admissions their National Merit Finalist Letter in order to qualify and inform the National Merit Scholarship Corporation that Prescott College is their first choice college.
