Description

The Legacy Scholarship is an institutional scholarship program that allows out-of-state students who are dependents of alumni to apply for Institutional Scholarships that are marked for In-State applicants (i.e. AE Scholar, AE Leadership, AE Pride, etc), if they otherwise qualify.
Eligible candidates must meet all the scholarship criteria and deadlines to apply.
The alumni must also be an active dues paying member of the Alumni Association in order for the student to receive the scholarship.
The scholarship is renewable as long as the student completes the required number of hours and maintains their GPA according to the standards established through each scholarship program.
The student should contact the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships in order for eligiblity to be determined by emailing scholarships@astate.edu or by phone at 870-972-2310.

Description

Undergraduate students who meet the following criteria are eligible to receive a scholarship equal to the out-of-state portion of tuition costs: (1) high school GPA of 3.000 or higher and ACT composite score of 24 or higher or comparable SAT score, (2) attendance beginning on or after August 20, 2007, (3) attend ASU-J as a full time student, and (4) a resident of any one of the 49 states in the United States other than Arkansas or resident of any U.S. territories. This scholarship is not subject to renewal criteria.
