Description
The Army Reserve Officers? Training Corps offers two scholarship programs in the form of Line and Nursing scholarships. To qualify for a campus-based two-four year scholarship, students must be enrolled in the Army ROTC program at San Diego State and be a full time student at any accredited four year university in San Diego County. Full time students attending local junior colleges must have completed at least 30 semester hours and transfer to a four year school before beginning the ROTC Advanced Course of instruction.

Undergraduate Merit Scholarships (Alcala, Trustee, and Presidential) are automatically determined by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Student's admission application is the application for the scholarships. Scholarship awards will be mailed out in early March. Scholarships are awarded based upon superior academic performance including grades, course selection, and test scores. Financial need is not considered in the awarding of merit scholarships. Only freshman applicants are eligible for merit scholarship consideration.
