The Adopted High School is a merit scholarship for U. S. High School graduates who attend FAMU Adopted High School. FAMU has memorandum of agreements with a select group of high schools. The valedictorian or salutatorian of their graduating high school class. Eligible scholars will receive an award to cover the cost of tuition minus the sum of Bright Futures, the National Merit? award or other scholarships and awards. The scholarship will cover fees associated with tuition, but minus the postal fee and the orientation fee. The scholarship also provides $2,790 to use toward university housing, $2,246 to use toward (university meal plan), a $500 book award.

The Elizabeth Benacquisto Scholarship Program is a merit scholarship for Florida high school graduates and thereafter who receive recognition as a National Merit? Scholar. Eligible scholars will receive an award equal to the institutional cost of attendance (COA) minus the sum of Bright Futures and the National Merit? award. The COA is the total amount of cost to attend Florida A&M University full-time each term, and may include but is not limited to: tuition and fees, on-campus room and board (university meal plan), books, supplies, travel and miscellaneous expenses.
