Accepted freshmen that have received the University Freshman Scholarship are also eligible to apply for the Presidential Scholars Program. Students selected to be Presidential Scholars will receive the $2,400 per year University Freshman Scholarship plus a separate $2,400 Presidential Scholarship for a total of $4,800 per year ($19,200 over four years). An additional $12,000 will be granted for educational enrichment opportunities. The total value of this scholarship is $31,200 over four years. Description
The Office of Admissions will automatically consider all accepted freshmen for our University Freshman Scholarship. A separate application is not required. Scholarships are competitive and awarded based on academic merit (combination of academic weighted grade point average AND test scores). The award is $2,400 per year distributed over four years, for a total of $9,600. Scholarship funds are limited, so students are encouraged to apply for admission by October 19 to be admitted in December for priority consideration. Scholarship awards will be made in December and continue until all available funds are exhausted.
