The purpose of the Dasher-Spruell Presidential Scholars Scholarship is to recognize highly motivated, academically talented first-time first-year students enrolled in the University Honors Program at Kennesaw State University. The scholarship is intended to assist with filling the gap between the cost of attendance and funding from Georgia?s scholarship and grant programs. The Dasher-Spruell Presidential Scholarship may be used toward the cost of books, room and board and any other educational expenses, including study abroad.

Recognition in the Kennesaw State Admission Scholars Program opens the door to all of the academic honors programs available to first time high ability first-year students. Among the accelerated opportunities are scholarship resources, study abroad options, and the various programs hosted by the Honors College. Admissions Scholars are also eligible to be part of the Stars Student Organization.
