Description

The Harold Alfond Scholarship for Engineering is a merit scholarship established in 2015 to encourage the study of engineering. The scholarship is funded by a generous donation from the Harold Alfond Foundation. Details of the scholarship include:

Up to $10,000 annually (representing a combination of funding from the Harold Alfond Engineering Scholarship Fund and other MMA merit funds)
Awarded to first-year engineering students
Preference given to Maine residents and first-generation* college students
Preference given to students who have earned at least a 3.3 high school cumulative grade point average and have no final grade below 2.00 in any course
Renewable for 8-10 consecutive semesters (depending on major)
