Students may apply for Army ROTC Scholarship while in high school or after enrolling in ROTC as college freshman and sophomores. Award amounts vary depending on grade level. The award is equal to full tuition and fees. Additionally, the program offers $600 per semester for books and a monthly stipend ($300/Freshman, $350/Sophomore, $450/Junior, $500/Senior). The scholarship is awarded based on merit, not financial need. The purpose of the scholarship is to award high achieving ROTC students to defer or eliminate the cost of their education. In return students will commission as officers in the Army, serving either full-time on Active Duty or part-time in the Army Reserves or Army National Guard.

The aim of C. May Diekmann Music Scholarship Endowment is to provide scholarships for the recruitment and retention of an oboe player, with the expectation that the recipient will perform in the University Band and Orchestra. The recipient must carry a 3.0 average in music courses and 2.5 average in general university requirements. If the recipient is an incoming freshman, then the freshman must have a high school grade point average of 2.5. In the event there is no oboe player who is eligible for the award, it may be given to a music student studying an instrument other than the oboe. This award may be given to more than one student.
