Description

Merit scholarships are awarded to new students whose high school records demonstrate strong academic achievement, leadership and potential for success at Assumption College. Students who are accepted for admission to Assumption are automatically considered for a merit scholarship, which range from $12,000-$21,000 per year. Institutional merit-based scholarships are renewable each year, provided students maintain the specified grade point average.

First-Year Student Merit Scholarships include: Presidential Scholarship, D'Alzon Scholarship, Milleret Scholarship, Dufault Scholarship, Assumption College Scholarship, and Assumption Achievement Award

Description

Assumption?s Light the Way Scholarship is awarded to incoming students who utilize their abilities to Light the Way for others. Whether it?s community service to help people in need, innovation to improve society, or volunteering to heal our planet, this scholarship recognizes and supports students who positively impact the world in their own meaningful way. Each year, Assumption College will award up to 50, $25,000 scholarships, renewable all four years. Applications for the Light the Way Scholarship are due by December 15, 2017. All scholarship applicants must also have an application for admission submitted by December 15. Recipients will be notified by February 15.

Description

Assumption College offers a number of vocal music merit scholarships of $2,500 - $10,000 to incoming students who demonstrate vocal excellence and who commit to participation in the Assumption College Chorale and its a cappella chamber ensemble, VOCE. These scholarships are awarded to incoming first-year students based on an audition, which the student must complete before February 21 of the spring prior to matriculation. The application deadline is on February 1 (by Noon).
