Description
The Gabelli Presidential Scholars Program is an academic merit program that awards every year fifteen four-year full tuition scholarships and funds all GPSP-sponsored summer programs. Each year since 1991, a select group of young men and women of outstanding talent and character have come to Boston College to embark on an integrated honors educational experience designed to embody the best of the university and its Jesuit heritage of educational excellence in service to society - the Boston College Gabelli Presidential Scholars Program. There is no minimum GPA or SAT score requirement but students with outstanding academic records, who hold leadership roles in their school and who are committed to and have a demonstrated interest in community service are typically chosen. Typically, the students selected are in the top 1-2 percent of the national pool of freshman applicants.
