Bulger Award and Scholarship Program provides four years of tuition and most mandatory fees annually to one outstanding high school graduate from a public or private high school in the city of Boston. Established in honor of William M. Bulger for many years of devoted service to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a state representative, senator, and senate president; and as the past president of the University of Massachusetts. It recognizes and encourages an outstanding student who exemplifies President Bulger?s philosophy of perseverance in pursuit of educational and personal goals.
