Description

The Ujima Global Leaders Program is a program focused on developing leaders for an increasingly diverse and complex world. Ujima Global Leaders are supported by a scholarship in recognition of their accomplishments and their potential to become agents for positive change in both our local and global communities. The Ujima Global Leaders Program is by invitation only. The program seeks to enroll talented first-year students with demonstrated leadership potential and an interest in community involvement and in issues related to diversity and inclusion. First generation students with demonstrated academic strength and financial need will receive preference in the selection process. Students who are selected for the program receive a $15,000 Ujima Global Leadership Award and those with demonstrated financial need, as determined by Northeastern University, will receive a financial aid package that meets their full need.

Northeastern National Scholarships replace any Dean?s, Excellence, Connections, or International Scholars awards and may result in a change to previously awarded Northeastern University Grant funds.
