Description

Presidential Merit Scholarships are university-funded merit-based grants that recognize the outstanding academic achievement of selected new first-year students at Westfield State University. A limited number of Presidential Scholarships are awarded annually. The award is $4000. First-year applicants who are Massachusetts residents and meet the minimum criteria will be considered automatically. Presidential Scholarships are renewable each year for a maximum of four years by maintaining a 3.30 cumulative average or by maintaining a 3.0 cumulative GPA with at least one Honors course completed per semester.
