Description

This scholarship awards you $12,019 (Tuition minus Pell Grant = EFOS) for four years if you meet renewal criteria. To initially quality, you need to have a minimum 3.0 high school GPA and 20 ACT or 1020 SAT (on 1600 scale). It's open to Michigan and Ohio residents only and those who have filed a FAFSA and are Pell Grant eligible by May 1.

To renew your scholarship, you must enroll in 15 credits each semester, maintain a 2.75 EMU GPA and meet SAP*. You also must file your FAFSA each year by April 1 and remain Pell Grant eligible.

Description

This scholarship awards $16,500 (Difference between resident and non-resident tuition) for four years award (maximum 124 credit hours) if you meet renewal criteria. Initial criteria requires a 2.75 high school GPA, 20 ACT or 950 SAT or higher and non-resident admission status. The renewal criteria requires you to enroll in 15 credits each semester, maintain a 2.75 EMU GPA , meet SAP* and maintain non-resident status. The priority deadline June 1.

*SAP = Satisfactory Academic Progress: Requires you to earn passing grades in a minimum of 67% of the credit hours you take. Grades of F, W, I, N, NC or repeated classes are not 'earned.'

Description

You must be admitted to the Presidential Scholarship Competition (PSC). The top 20 students in the PSC receive $19,000 full ride scholarship for a maximum of four years or 124 credits if they meet the renewal criteria. To keep this scholarship, you must be enrolled in 15 credits each semester, maintain a 3.5 GPA, meet SAP and live in EMU's residence halls all four years.
