Great Lakes Award - Undergraduate students who are residents of a state or province bordering a Great Lake enjoy an award that reduces the non-resident tuition rate. Great Lakes Award recipients receive a tuition benefit at only 10 percent above resident rates ? a savings of thousands of dollars each semester.

Detroit Public Schools (DPS) high schools select the recipients of Wade McCree Incentive Scholarships. Financial need is not a criterion. The Wade McCree Incentive Scholarship provides tuition for 32 credits for four years (eight semesters maximum).

Award requirements
