Description

ACAP students are assured of receiving a minimum award of $13,000 per year upon admission to Augsburg College. Students who qualify for the ACAP Scholarship could instead be eligible for the Augsburg Promise Grant.

Students who qualify for the ACAP Scholarship could instead be eligible for the Augsburg Promise Grant covering the total cost of tuition (does not include fees, room, or board) through grants if they meet the following criteria:
ACT of 20 or higher
Cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher
Pell Grant eligible
Participation in a college-readiness program
Resident of Minnesota and a graduate of a Minnesota high school
Must reside in the residence halls while attending Augsburg

Description
The Honors Scholarship recognizes first-year students selected to join the Honors Program through an interview and competition process that is completed within 2 weeks of acceptance at Augsburg and students must apply for the Honors Program within their application to the University. For consideration, students are suggested to have a 3.5 or higher GPA or a 27 or greater ACT composite score. Award decisions are based on academic criteria, a letter of academic recommendation, leadership activities, an essay, and an on-campus interview. To receive this award, qualified students are required to live on campus and to participate in Augsburg?s Honors Program.
Applicants are encouraged to apply for additional scholarships for which they might qualify, but if an Honors Scholarship is awarded, the recipient cannot receive any other Augsburg scholarships, with the exception of a Fine Arts Scholarship.

Description
The President?s Scholarship recognizes 10 first-year students of exceptional academic ability with strong evidence of leadership potential. Ten President?s Scholarships are awarded annually through a final interview process during Scholarship Weekend. Students will be notified if they are selected for a final interview upon receiving admission into the Honors Program.
Students must apply for the Honors Program within their application to the University to be considered for the President?s Scholarship. For consideration, students are suggested to have a 3.5 or higher GPA or a 27 or greater ACT composite score.
