Full-time students who qualify may add up to two additional scholarships to the academic/achievement scholarships. Performance, athletic, and denominational scholarships are awarded and renewed by audition and a 2.0 CGPA at the end of an academic year. One semester grace period is given to all first-time students.

Description

Academic Scholarships
Academic scholarships are awarded to full-time, degree seeking students attending the HLGU main campus. Academic scholarships are designed to recognize and reward students for previous academic achievement. Generous scholarship awards are presented based on high school grade point average(GPA) and ACT/SAT scores. Scholarship dollar amounts range from $5,000 to $10,000 annually (up to $20,000 to $40,000 over 4 years). Renewable: Academic scholarships are renewable for four years (eight semesters) with appropriate HLGU cummulative grade point average (CGPA).

Description

Achievement awards are considered for students not receiving an academic scholarship. Achievement scholarships are based on high school (GPA) and ACT/SAT score results and grade point averages earned previous to enrollment at HLGU. Achievement awards are valued at $3,000 per year (up to $12,000 over 4 years). Achievement scholarships are renewable based on maintaining a 2.5 GPA at the end of an academic year. One semester grace period is given to all first-time students.

We are thankful to those that have given so generously to HLGU to make these scholarships available. The scholarships are available to students who attend Hannibal-LaGrange University on the main campus and are enrolled in the traditional undergraduate degree programs. These scholarships must be applied for each year.

Description

Regional High School Scholarship
The HLGU Regional High School Scholarship is available to current high school and homeschool seniors. To be eligible, the student must: be a senior attending one of the schools listed below, have above a 3.0 CGPA, and a minimum ACT score of 21. Residential students are eligible for a $10,000 scholarship annually while commuter students are eligible for a $6,500 annual scholarship. Scholarships awarded are limited to 50 per year and are renewable for four years based on an earned 2.5 CGPA. The HLGU Regional High School Scholarship may not be combined with any other institutional scholarship.
