Midwest Student Exchange (Partial Out-Of-State Tuition Waiver)
This program was established by the Midwestern Higher Education Commission to increase interstate educational opportunities for student of its member states. The program allows residents of Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota and Wisconsin to enroll in specific designated programs at reduced tuition rates. Through MSEP, Missouri Western will charge eligible students no more than 150% of the in-state resident tuition rate for specific programs. To qualify for the program: First-time freshman must have earned a minimum ACT composite score of 21 and a GPA of 3.00 for all high school coursework; transfer students must have earned a 3.00 GPA for all college level coursework.

Golden Griffon Scholarship (Gold Level ? Competitive)
This award provides outstanding incoming freshmen with a four-year renewable scholarship valued at up to $5,000 per year. For those who choose to live on-campus, the scholarship will also include the cost of a room on the Academic Achievement Floor in Vaselakos Hall. Requirements for the Golden Griffon candidacy include: a composite ACT score of 27 or above; ranking in the top 10% of his or her high school class or an overall un-weighted GPA of 3.5 for all high school coursework; and evidence of involvement in extracurricular activities and community service. Applicants are required to submit one essay and may be required to attend a personal interview or campus visit. Recipients must pursue General Studies Honors; be an active member in an MWSU club or organization, maintain a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA; and successfully complete a minimum of 24 credit hours during the academic year for renewal.
