Alfred University Competition Scholarship is awarded to entering full-time freshmen may compete for awards in the academic areas of engineering, mathematics, and English composition. The competitions are held on the Alfred University campus during the fall and winter of the senior year of high school. Interested applicants must contact the Admissions Office or Financial Aid Office during early September of the senior year of high school for dates.
Value: $1,000 to $2,500 per year. Awards are renewable provided the student maintains a 3.0 cumulative grade point average, continuous full-time enrollment, and good citizenship.
