Description
Awarded to newly admitted students whose prior records and/or performance in the admissions skills assessment test demonstrate outstanding promise. Scholarships are automatically renewable for up to five years, assuming a B average, which is a 3.0 GPA (grade point average) in at least 12 credits per year. These awards are available only during the academic year (fall and spring terms).
The Dean?s Scholarship is a minimum of $10,000 and may be higher if need is demonstrated on the financial aid applications and if funding allows. Recipients are in the top 10?20 percent of all admitted students.

This scholarship augments other gift aid or grants to cover full tuition for courses taken at Fordham University. This scholarship combined with other gift aid will cover full tuition cost (fees not included). The actual amount of the scholarship will be less any Federal Pell Grant eligibility, state assistance, and any other tuition specific resources. The Theatre Scholarship also covers the average cost of a double room or actual charges, whichever is less (excluding meal plans and fees) if the student lives on campus.
