Valedictorian and Salutatorian Scholarships
Valedictorians and Salutatorians graduating in spring of the current year will be considered for scholarship support upon admission and enrollment at Stony Brook for the following Fall semester. You must apply and be admitted to the University for the Fall semester following your graduation in the spring and official documentation from your high school must be submitted confirming this status. You must have a minimum high school GPA of 90%.

The Department of Music offers a limited number of competitive scholarships to incoming freshmen and transfer students. Students may compete for scholarships in performance, composition, history, or theory. Applications are due in late January, and scholarship auditions take place in early February.
