Description

The SUNY Potsdam Freshman Scholars Program is designed to provide support to our high achieving students who pay out-of-state tuition. This program is only for accepted freshman students entering for full-time fall admission. The value of each award begins at $5,000 annually. It is renewable for three subsequent years by maintaining a minimum of a 3.25 cumulative GPA.

The selection committee will consider the student's academic record, GPA, SAT and/or ACT test scores, TOEFL scores (for international students), essay, and a history of participation and leadership in extracurricular activities and community service.

Freshman applicants must have a minimum high school GPA of 85 (on a 100 scale).
