Every first-year applicant will be a candidate for the Elon Engagement Scholarship which is renewable annually. In addition, each recipient will be given a one-time $2,000 grant to be used for an approved Elon Experience or project they design. Selection is based on high school academic record, standardized test scores, and very important? the application essay.

Description
Scholarships are available for outstanding students in the dual-degree engineering program. A special application must be submitted with two letters of recommendation no later than January 10. Apply online. Finalists are invited to campus for faculty interviews and a preview of the dual-degree engineering program. Two scholarships valued at $8,000 annually will be awarded. The engineering scholarship is in addition to other merit-based monies the student has received.

Description
Elon's Fellows Programs offer exciting academic and personal growth opportunities beyond the scope of the usual college experience -- opportunities like $1,000 Elon Experiences grants, special courses, internships or paid research assistantships. In addition, each of the Fellows Programs offers scholarships to selected incoming Fellows. To be considered for one of these scholarships, students must apply and be admitted to the Fellows program. The scholarships are renewable for an additional 3 years, provided that all program requirements are met. These Fellows scholarships are awarded in addition to any Presidential Scholarship that has been received.

Description
Presidential Scholarships of $5,000 to $6,000 annually are awarded to approximately the top 25 percent of entering freshmen each year. The awards are based on high school course selection, SAT/ACT scores, and class rank and/or grades. No separate application is needed. Scholarships are automatically awarded to students who meet the necessary criteria when the completed admissions application is reviewed. All Presidential Scholarships are renewable for an additional 3 years pending acceptable academic performance.

Description
The U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force award three or four-year ROTC scholarships, which cover the cost of tuition and books, plus $100 per month for personal expenses. Elon provides free on-campus housing and board during the time the ROTC scholarship pays tuition. The room and board scholarship is equal to the amount of a regular double room and up to the cost of the All Access + 7 meal plan.
