Description

High Point Scholars demonstrate solid achievement, good citizenship and leadership during high school. High Point Scholars are invited to a special leadership weekend in March where they can increase their merit award.

High Point Scholars are students who may or may not have chosen to send in official SAT or ACT scores under HPU?s new Test Optional policy and who still qualify for a merit scholarship. The SAT and ACT scores below have historically represented students in this category but are no longer required for this scholarship.

All High Point Scholars will be invited to campus for a special weekend in March where they will have the opportunity to increase their scholarship by $2,000 per year.

Description

The Business Fellows Program provides students a four-year, experiential, team-based scholastic business experience with like-minded students. Working with a dedicated director, students are provided personal mentoring, networking travel and opportunities to learn about business careers and the ever-changing business world from scholars and practitioners. Successful applicants to the Business Fellows program will have a declared major in Accounting, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Finance, International Business, Marketing or Sales and have a track record of interest in studying business. The program is highly selective and is limited to the top fifty incoming business students in each entering class. Business Fellows receive a $3,000 scholarship renewable annually based on academic performance and continued participation in the program. This is in addition to any Presidential or High Point Scholarship

The program is highly selective and is limited to the top twenty-five incoming education students in each entering class. The Natural Sciences Fellows Program enriches the academic experiences of students who show exceptional promise in the sciences by providing them with unique, personalized, professional development training that prepares them to be leaders in their field. Successful applicants to the Natural Science Fellows program will have a declared major in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or Physics and have a track record of success in their studies of the natural sciences. Previous research experiences, summer programs, participation in competitions or conferences and other science-related experience will be an advantage for applicants. The program is highly selective and is limited to the top fifty incoming natural science students in each entering class. Natural Science Fellows receive a $3,000 scholarship renewable annually based on academic performance and continued participation in the program. Description

High Point University (HPU) is pleased to support and award five prestigious Say Yes Scholarships with at least two of these being First Generation Scholarships to Guilford County School students living in High Point, North Carolina. This scholarship opportunity is expected to be highly competitive and will include full tuition, fees and books during the academic year. Scholarships will be adjusted to not exceed full tuition, fees and books for those living off campus. The awards will be renewable for an additional three years provided that all academic renewal requirements are met and a clear social record is maintained. High Point University will also award at least five Choice Scholarships through Say Yes that are valued at $5,000 per year for 4 years to qualifying students from Guilford County attending a Guilford County public high school whose family incomes are above $75,000.
