Description

All applicants for admission are considered for Merit Scholarships and Awards. Xavier offers many academic scholarships and awards to recognize students for their achievements. Any student who applies for admission is automatically evaluated for one of these awards. For Fall 2016, these academic scholarship and award amounts ranged from $9,000 to $20,000 annually. These awards are renewable for a total of four years as long as students maintain a minimum GPA and remain enrolled full-time.

Description

In support of the FIRST mission, Xavier University is offering two merit-based scholarships, each for $2,500, to high school seniors who have participated on a FIRST team during their junior or senior year in high school. This scholarship may be utilized for any undergraduate course of study at Xavier University. The scholarship is renewable for up to a total of $10,000 over four years, contingent upon maintaining good academic standing. Each recipient must meet the regular academic requirements for admission to the University.

The Weninger Scholarship is a four-year scholarship named in honor of Francis Xavier Weninger, S.J., founder of St. Ann Parish in 1865. St. Ann's was the first Catholic church and school with a ministry committed to Cincinnati's black community.
