The ICSP scholarship awards 30?40 competitive scholarships to international students each year. Scholarships apply to tuition only and range from $7,500?$30,000 per year. The ICSP scholarship has a cultural service component that requires students to give presentations about their home country to children, community organizations, and UO students, faculty, and staff. ICSP scholarships are based on financial need, academic merit, and the ability to make presentations to diverse groups of people.

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), in conjunction with the UO, awards merit scholarships to selected academically talented high school seniors for undergraduate studies at the University of Oregon. Prospective freshmen who have been awarded College-Sponsored Finalist standing, and who have listed the University of Oregon as their 'first choice' school on the NMSC Scholarship is awarded to, are eligible to receive an $8,000 National Merit Scholarship awarded over four years at the UO.
