Annually, the Goode Scholars award at Eastern will be awarded to twenty first-year students from urban areas. To be eligible, a student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or rank top 30% in class and be service-minded, with displayed leadership abilities. Students admitted to the Goode Scholars Program will receive a yearly award in addition to their EU award and is renewable annually if all program requirements have been met.
