The 2018 Braddock Scholarship of up to $6,000 annually, is available to outstanding high school seniors who are interested in the study of Astronomy & Astrophysics, Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Forensic Science, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Physics, or Pre-Medicine at Penn State. Several scholarships are offered annually to students with excellent SAT performance, excellent letters of recommendation and an outstanding high school transcript. The applicant?s transcript should indicate an emphasis on science coursework or be consistent with the intent to major in one of the indicated disciplines

Provost's Awards : There is no application process for the Provost?s Award. All domestic first-year students that receive an offer of admission to University Park and all Commonwealth Campuses will be considered. The Provost?s Award is competitive and granted to less than 15% of the incoming first-year class. Students with strong diverse backgrounds and/or experiences are selected based on a multitude of factors, and qualifying students are notified by mail.

Full-time enrollment and a minimum grade-point average are required to maintain eligibility for the Provost's Award.
