The Martha Covington King Scholarships were established in 1998 in memory of Martha Covington King, a Lander alumna who graduated in 1936. The King scholarships provide four years of financial assistance to entering freshmen majoring in Environmental Science at Lander University. Awards are made on the basis of merit.
