Description
The LIFE Scholarship program is a merit-based scholarship program. Undergraduate students attending four-year institutions, or two-year colleges or technical colleges, in South Carolina are eligible to receive the amount of tuition and mandatory fees assessed to all students plus a $300 book allowance, not to exceed $5,000. Half of the scholarship award will be disbursed in the Fall semester and the other half in the Spring semester. First time entering freshmen must meet two of the three following criteria to be considered for the LIFE Scholarship:
Graduate from a high school with a 3.0 cumulative grade point ratio on the Uniform Grading Scale
Score an 1100 on the SAT or 24 on the ACT
Graduate in the top 30% of the graduating class.

Description
The Palmetto Fellows Scholarship Program is a merit-based scholarship program administered by the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education. The annual award amount for each Palmetto Fellow cannot exceed $6,700 per academic year. The scholarship must be applied directly toward the cost of attendance, less any other gift aid received. Palmetto Fellows may be supported for a maximum of eight full-time semesters of study toward the first bachelor's degree at a participating four-year institution in South Carolina.

Description
The S-STEM Scholarship is provided to talented, full-time Computational Science students who demonstrate financial need. The scholarship is made possible by a grant from the National Science Foundation.
High school seniors, new transfer students, and current USCB students may apply. Applicants must be a student in Computational Science. Applicants must also demonstrate academic talent and financial need. In addition, they must be US citizens, permanent residents, nationals, or refugees.

Description
All students who are accepted into the Studio Art Program will be awarded a $1,000 per year scholarship renewable for up to four years. In order to receive and maintain the scholarship, you must remain a Studio Art major at USCB.
In addition to the $1,000 scholarship, USCB offers a number of competitive scholarships to prospective Studio Art majors. Scholarships are awarded based upon a cumulative review of a candidate's scholarship application in addition to a review of the applicant's sample artwork.
