State Add-On Scholarships (for out-of-state residents only)
Out-of-state residents are awarded a renewable scholarship based on their ACT score. When entering Lipscomb with an ACT of 26 and above or SAT of 1240 and above; the student receives a $3,000 award. When entering Lipscomb with an ACT of 25 and below or SAT of 1230 and below; the student receives a $1,500 award. Any student receiving a state add-on scholarship must live on campus and maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA. Excludes: Trustees, National Merit Finalist, National Merit Semi-Finalists, Lipscomb Academy Valedictorian Scholarship and athletes whose combined Lipscomb aid is full tuition and above.

Presidential Scholars are recognized for their outstanding academic achievements. Your application for admission will serve as your application for the Presidential Scholarship. Presidential Scholars will also be invited to attend Presidential Weekend, and will be awarded an additional $1,500 study abroad scholarship at this special event. The Lipscomb Scholarship for National Achievement Award for African American students requires documentation from the National Merit Corporation. Finalists who live on-campus will receive $3,000. Finalists who live off-campus will receive $1,500. Semi-Finalists who live on-campus will receive $2,000. Semi-Finalists who live off-campus students will receive $1,000. The award may be stacked with all other gift aid, not to exceed full tuition. If all gift aid exceeds full tuition, the award will be adjusted to meet the awarding rule.
