Academic Excellence Scholarship Program
The Academic Excellence Scholarship awards $3,000 scholarships to entering freshmen for the upcoming fall semester who meet the eligibility requirements. If specific criteria are met, the scholarship may be renewed for three additional years after the initial award while pursuing the first baccalaureate degree.

Stephen F. Austin State University is proud to support the Regents Scholarship program. This scholarship will be awarded to academically-gifted undergraduate students. A scholarship recipient must be a new incoming freshman, sophomore, or junior-level student who has not previously attended Stephen F. Austin State University. Emphasis will be placed on awarding these scholarships to new incoming freshmen students.

OIP/SFA International Scholarship is awarded to students who will contribute to the increased diversity for international representation at Stephen F. Austin State University. The amount of the scholarship is $1,000 per year. All applicants must show financial need and educational achievement in order to be awarded the scholarship. Students who receive the $1,000 OIP Scholarship are eligible for Texas resident tuition rates, which is about $4,500 less each semester
