Description

The National CAP Scholarship is valued at $20,000, payable at $5,000 per year and will be awarded to cadets who have served for one or more years in a position of leadership as a member of the Civil Air Patrol. This scholarship is available to all qualified Civil Air Patrol cadets. To apply for the National CAP Scholarship, cadets must submit a Letter of Recommendation from their Wing and/or Unit Commander with their application for admissions and be accepted as a member of the Norwich University Corps of Cadets. To renew the scholarship each year Cadets are required to maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above.

Description

For students pursuing a military career, ROTC scholarships help cover costs, but commit you to serve in the armed forces. These scholarships are applied to through the branch or branches of interest, not Norwich University, and are highly competitive on a national scale.

ROTC provides money to cover some tuition and uniform expenses as well as a monthly stipend. A student bringing an ROTC scholarship to Norwich will also be awarded the I.D. White Scholarship, which covers room and board.
