Description

The Academic Scholarship is available to incoming freshmen. Consideration is based upon a student?s high school GPA and SAT/ACT scores. No additional application is required to apply; eligibility is determined based upon a student?s application for admission to the university.

The Academic Scholarship may be renewed annually for a total of four years. To remain eligible, recipients are required to maintain full-time enrollment as an undergraduate student and a GPA of at least 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale).

Description

The Presidential Scholarship is a highly selective, limited scholarship available to incoming freshmen. There are only 10 Presidential Scholarships awarded each year and selection is quite competitive. In order to be considered for a Presidential Scholarship, a student must be admitted no later than February 1 and meet both GPA and test score requirements. Scholastic, leadership, and community activities are considered in the evaluation process. Consideration is based upon a student?s application for admission to the university; no additional application is required to apply. However, students are strongly encouraged to submit an activity resume with their admission materials

The Shenandoah University Grant is an academic and need-based university grant. The amount of the grant will vary based upon a student?s academic success and the results of their FAFSA prior to enrolling at Shenandoah. Students must maintain full-time enrollment and a GPA of 2.5 or better to continuing receiving this award.

Description

The Conservatory Scholarship is available to students pursuing a degree within the Shenandoah Conservatory. The scholarship is awarded based upon a student?s application for admission, their audition and the needs of the conservatory.

The Conservatory Talent Award may be renewed annually for a total of four years. Recipients are required to maintain full-time enrollment as an undergraduate student, maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale), and meet the requirements as set by the Conservatory to keep the award. This scholarship is awarded in place of the Academic Scholarship.
