Description
The Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC), in partnership with Virginia Wesleyan College, offers students an elective curriculum in addition to coursework required for college majors. Participating students receive outstanding leadership training and excellent scholarship opportunities. Freshmen and sophomores may participate in the program without obligation to join the Army. Those who continue in ROTC, graduate as commissioned officers of the Army and have vast opportunities to specialize in a wide range of special interests called branches.

Description
We are pleased to offer Academic Scholarships to all entering freshmen and transfer students. Once we have your application and all credentials (Freshmen: High School Transcripts and ACT/SAT scores. Transfer students: Official Transcripts from your previous institutions), our Admission Counselors will evaluate and a scholarship offer will be sent with your VWC acceptance letter. For freshmen scholarships are renewable for a total of eight semesters, as long as you are making Satisfactory Academic Progress. Transfer scholarships are renewable until you graduation requirements are met, but will not exceed eight semesters, as long as you are making Satisfactory Academic Progress.
