Description
If you are interested in receiving an Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) scholarship and commissioning into an Army reserve component, the Minuteman Scholarship provides you an excellent opportunity.
Minuteman Scholarships cover four (4) years of full tuition and fees or $10,000 for room and board as well as a monthly stipend of $300 to $500, and a yearly book allowance of $1,200. In addition, Minuteman Scholarship recipients participate in the Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP), which gives them experience with an Army reserve component unit while earning additional money for their service.

Description
The College of Science & Mathematics at the University of North Georgia (UNG) has received a federal grant for nearly $615,000 to support students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields. The grant will provide annual, competitive scholarships of $4,362 to 24 talented, full-time freshmen who do not have their financial needs met through traditional financial aid. The grant is part of the National Science Foundation's Scholarship in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S-STEM) project, which aims to increase the STEM workforce by recruiting and supporting academically talented, low-income students through degree completion, and partnering with employers to facilitate job placement.

Description
Rising high school seniors may apply for the General Army ROTC Scholarship as early as mid-June between junior and senior year. A National Board awards 4-year and 3-year advance-designee scholarships worth up to $57,000.
The scholarship can pay either tuition and fees or room and meals; a monthly stipend ($300 for freshmen, $350 for sophomores, $450 for juniors, and $500 for seniors); and $1,200 per year for books. They are awarded based on high academic achievement, excellence in athletics, and demonstrated leadership skills. After graduating from the University of North Georgia, Army ROTC Scholarship recipients will serve as an officer in the Regular Army, Army National Guard or Army Reserve.

Description
Presidential Tuition Waivers (PTW) are competitively awarded to out-of-state and international students based on academic performance and/or test scores. All admitted out-of-state and international students who are legally present in the US will be considered (no separate application is required) and the qualifications of recipients will depend on the competitiveness of the pool. Recipients may be awarded a half PTW, which allows students to pay tuition at the in-state tuition rate plus half the out-of-state rate, or a full PTW, which allows recipients to pay tuition at the in-state rate, for up to nine semesters if renewal criteria are met.
